# How to Automate and Schedule NetSuite CSV Data File Imports

**White Paper**

The NetSuite Import Assistant tool enables users to automatically import data into NetSuite via CSV files. Each time data is imported, users need to manually scan and upload files, select an import type, record type, and file for import, choose import character encoding, and map the CSV file. To simplify the process and reduce manual effort, ennVee created a SuiteScript that automatically imports data files into NetSuite and allows users to schedule imports ahead of time.
